21-Day Fast
January 15 to February 4, 2012
"At that time, I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips, and I used no lotions until the three weeks were over." - Daniel 10:2-3
What is a Biblical fast?
It is denying yourself food for a spiritual reason during a particular period of time (21 days) to see the hand of God move miraculously in your life and in the lives of others.
Ways to fast:
- Absolute fast. No food or water — only short periods of time — with medical permission.
- Normal fast. Going without food for a period of days — usually drinking lots of water — sometimes juices and broth.
- Partial fast (Daniel's fast). Eliminating meat, bread, and sweets. This is our recommendation for this fast.
