Summer of Love
This summer Pastor Dwayne will be sharing about loving our community. And, we'll discover how we can be, and need to be, a bright light in a dark world.
Starting the weekend of June 6/7, we will embark together on a wonderful adventure of love! Each weekend we will provide specific projects detailed for you to go out and be “the light of the world” that Jesus has commanded us to be. It is going to be easy. And it is going to be fun.
We want everyone in the church to find ways to share God’s love, so we will have a variety of opportunities available. The projects will be simple and in most cases be able to be completed in an hour or less. Before you begin your project, please read the Getting Started Instructions for helpful information.
What Type of Projects Will We Do?

Example projects include:

Clean up: parks, schools and beaches
- Welcome new neighbors
- Share meals with people at the park/beach
- Take goodies to police/fire stations
- Donate food/clothes to local charities
- Visit senior centers
