Nursery Ministries
Our nursery program serves children from birth up through three years of age. The children are separated into two rooms—one for infants/toddlers, and one for two and three-year-olds. Each room is equipped with age-level appropriate furnishings.

Nursery Hours
A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers for all worship services and many church-wide events and activities. The nursery opens 15 minutes prior to the beginning of a church function and promptly closes 15 minutes after the event is over.
Our Philosophy
We believe that children are a sacred gift from God and that even very young children need to be taught about God and His love for them.
He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." (Mark 9:36-37) "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Mark 10:14)
Our Mission Statement
At Las Flores Church, we strive to let all children know that we love them, and God loves them. We feel that it is the responsibility of every caregiver to not only teach about God, but to show His unconditional love through all of actions.
Adult/Child Ratios
Every effort is made to keep the ratio of one adult to every six children, and one adult to every four infants in the nursery. We also require at least two workers on duty at all times. Under no circumstances will children be left alone for ANY amount of time. Caregivers are required to directly supervise children by sight and hearing at all times.
Nursery Staff
Our nursery staff includes the Nursery Director and two paid nursery workers for Sunday morning services in addition to volunteers. Paid nursery workers must be at least 15 years old and have a current CPR/First Aid Training Certificate.
Nursery Volunteers
Our nursery volunteers are parents and other members of our church family who assist our paid staff during services. All volunteers are required to complete a training session on policies and procedures, an application form, and criminal background check before working in the nursery. New church members will be asked to wait for six months before working in the nursery.
